The smell of paint, vinyl scratching and 16s - it's finally time to celebrate the biggest jam in the country. The Tapefabrik and its fans have been celebrating the German underground together for over 10 years. In June, the volunteer team in Wiesbaden delivers, as usual, old school to new wave, head nod to mosh pit, a beat stage, an open-air stage and the famous "Kesselhaus" where sweat is already dripping from the ceiling in the afternoon.
Even in its 12th year, the Tapefabrik remains true to itself: no room for discrimination or wackiness, but double room for diversity, creativity and realness. Next year too, Friday will open with a very own live concept before the who's who of the German rap scene performs on the festival Saturday.
In 2024 that means: An all-star cypher around the Hamburg resident Pimf, who brings some exciting guests to the stage from his playlist album Final.Wav. In 2024 there will be more to discover than ever before. Live graffiti, beat floor, stands, food trucks and much more! For the first time, “taped! A meet-up for hip-hop culture and community” will take place at the Tapefabrik. This means from early noon until the Tapefabrik Festival begins in the evening, panels and talks, live podcasts, battles, workshops, tattoos and much more - entry is based on donations. The beloved Hall of Fame, where graffiti artists from all over Germany leave their mark, will again be an integral part of the festival in 2024.
