The last ten thousand years of human history have left their mark on Usinger Land. With original, local finds and reconstructions, visitors can follow the developments and changes of the land. What changes for hunters and gatherers as a result of the revolutionary introduction of agriculture and animal husbandry? What influence has the switch from bronze to iron processing on society as a whole? Answers and plenty of interesting information can be found in the Museum of Prehistory and Early History in the vaulted cellar of the town hall at Wilhelmjstraße 1, and the nearby Usingen City Museum at Schlossplatz 4 in the Kavaliershaus.
