Information

The Weibersbrunn Museum shows the special history of the village's development, which is closely connected to the glassworks and to glass production. The members of the local history society set up the museum to give visitors an insight into the origins of the village in the Spessart. Many everyday objects have been brought together, for example an old laundry room, a parlour, old tools and machines from days gone by. In addition, the so-called "Prince Regent Room" can be visited, which is dedicated to the Prince Regent Luitpold, successor to King Ludwig II. He often came to hunt in the Spessart, where the hunting lodge "Luitpoldshöhe" in Rohrbrunn served as his residence. Thsu, he also came to Weibersbrunn again and again, especially to take part in the Sunday church service.
