Information

With the first scientific description of the Bad Schwalbacher mineral springs in 1581, the rapid rise of the place to the respected spa begins.
We bring our guests closer to the drinking, bathing and mud cures and introduce doctors and spa guests. We let you participate in spa life in the past with its sports and music events.
The finds discovered in 2018 from a 2,500-year-old Celtic tomb can be admired in a new section.

With our museum pharmacy, we present our guests with an extraordinary gem. We show the complete inventory of the Adler pharmacy, founded in 1642, the oldest pharmacy in the Taunus. Films document the responsible work of the pharmacist in earlier times in the production of medicines.
The digital and OCR-searchable newspaper archive of the "Aar-Boten" and the spa and foreigner lists are available to anyone interested in researching the history of the city and the Lower Taunus.
