Information

“In silence, one finds the strength for new thinking” – this inscription on the water pavilion embodies the philosophy of the Chinese Garden. Behind protective walls lies a 4,000-square-meter “spring flower paradise” that immerses visitors in the aesthetics of Far Eastern philosophy. Designed in the style of the historical Shiukou gardens, the grounds offer a retreat filled with harmony and symbolism.

Unique Architecture & Symbolism:

• The Seven Elements: The garden embodies the Taoist ideal of a balance between earth, sky, water, stones, buildings, living beings, and plants.

• Architectural Treasures: Discover the stone triumphal arch, the “Half-Boat Bridge,” and the famous “Water Pavilion of the Purified Heart.” The latter was painstakingly reconstructed by hand in 2019 by Chinese specialists after a fire in 2017.

• Landscape views: 22 landscape windows, a delicate marble bridge, and an artificial waterfall at the "jasper-green pond" create ever-changing, picturesque vistas.
