theatreperipherie sees itself as post-migrant theatre, which is aimed in particular at people who have had little or no experience with the medium of theatre. The thematic focus is on the thematisation of power relations and different mechanisms of exclusion. Topics and forms that usually find no place in the theatre landscape are realised on stage. theatreperipherie works under professional conditions, with so-called amateur actors and meanwhile also with professional actors. The plays are aimed at all age groups, but especially at young audiences, to whom the path to the theatre should be opened.
