Information
The exground filmfest in Wiesbaden is one of Germany's most important film festivals for international, independent productions and is an important meeting place for journalists, trade visitors and guests from the film industry. Many (debut) films by now world-renowned directors had their German or European premiere in Wiesbaden. To name just a few from past years: "9 Souls" by Toshiaki Toyoda, "Gerry" by Gus Van Sant, "The three burials of Melquiades Estrada" by Tommy Lee Jones, "Nokan" by Yojiro Takita, "Somewhere tonight" by Michael Di Jiacomo, "Gantz 2" by Shinsuke Sato, "After Lucia" by Michel Franco and "Betlehem" by Yuval Adler.
