In 2001, Winfried (Winni) Gärtner began his passion for building dollhouses. The reason for this was the birth of his granddaughter Lara, because he believed that every girl should have a dollhouse. In the meantime, countless dollhouses and doll rooms have been built and restored.
When there was no longer enough space in his home, the local council provided a building that is used by various associations. In 2016, Winni's doll's house museum also moved into this clubhouse opposite the railway station. Spread over 120 square metres, there are 180 doll's houses and rooms and a total of over 500 exhibits. All of the houses, which were built by hand, have been created and furnished with great attention to detail.
