The Vogel der Nacht Festival in Bensheim promises pure summer festival fun for the whole family. A colourful mix of live music, comedy, theatre and children's activities is on offer in Bensheim's city park – with free admission. It is the classic festival par excellence of the Showmaker Open Airs and the mother of all ‘free and outdoor festivals’. But ‘VODENA’ has not aged a bit and has lost none of its original magic: as fresh and entertaining as on the first day, it will take off on its cultural and varied flight on Tuesday, 12 August, and will not land again until the last note has faded away on the stage at the foot of the sloping meadow on Sunday, 17 August. In between, there will be many hours of colourful entertainment for visitors of all ages.
