The permanent exhibition of Verkehrsmuseum Frankfurt am Main in Schwanheim offers a comprehensive overview of the development of Frankfurt's local transport and makes history come alive again with the lovingly restored original exhibits. The highlights of the museum are a horse-drawn tram from the 19th century and a steam locomotive from 1900.
