TraumTHEATER Hanau
The Traumtheater Hanau e.V. was founded in 2016 by Mark Brauneis. The trademark of the young theatre group is to adapt well-known Hollywood films as stage versions. Mr Brauneis always writes the scripts for this together with his club colleague Selina Goetz. The two are also responsible for directing. So far, the Traumtheater Hanau e.V. has performed Bram Stoker's Dracula - based on the cinema version by Coppola (2016), I Love You to Death (2017), A Fish Called Wanda (2019) and The Exorcism of Emily Rose (2020) at the Hanau Comoedienhaus as plays in front of enthusiastic audiences. In addition to adapting cinema classics for the theatre stage, another unique selling point of the group led by Mr Brauneis and Ms Goetz is the absurd, black humour that permeates many of their plays. Traumtheater Hanau e.V. the somewhat different theatre - modern and yet somehow typically classical theatre. Hollywood in Hanau.
