I Céline Schücke, alias Lilli Chapeau, studied classical ballet and dance pedagogy at the Roleff-King Ballet School in Munich, as well as Modern German Literature and Philosophy at the University of Hagen. 1993 - 2013 I toured many cities in Germany as an actress and tightrope walker. 2004 - 2020 I then ran the smallest theatre in the world together with my then partner in Miltenberg am Main, "Theater Lilli Chapeau", which even made it into the Guinness Book of Records in 2011. In 2014, we opened the second venue in the Schlosspark Kleinheubach, which I have been running on my own since November 2020-2024. As Lilli Chapeau, I not only script and direct my plays myself, but I also stand on stage all by myself as a performer in almost all of them and try to amaze my audience again and again with a colourful wealth of ideas, lightning-fast costume and role changes, great monologues and multi-faceted acting. Lilli Chapeau's theatre performances are now attended by passionate theatre-goers from all over Germany. The theatre has been located in Klingenberg since 2024. Lilli Chapeau's theatre does not need any sponsors, subsidies or grants and is financed exclusively by the audience's entrance fees.
