Stadtmuseum Hattersheim
65795 Hattersheim am Main
The Stadtmuseum Hattersheim has found its new home in the former Sarotti workshop building, in the middle of Hattersheim's chocolate district. On around 465 square meters, visitors can expect a permanent exhibition on the town and industrial history of Hattersheim. Another focus is on the topic of archaeology - here especially on the Celts.
Hattersheim's history with the thematic complexes of roses, paper, glass, cards, mills, Anton Flettner, chocolate and archaeology is told in the Stadtmuseum Hattersheim and there are special exhibits and individual pieces to admire.
In addition, finds from the Celtic and Neolithic Ages, which were found during various excavations in the city area, are on display.
The sponsor of the museum is the city of Hattersheim am Main. The museum is run by the Hattersheimer Geschichtsverein 1985 e. V.
