Information
The Hadamar City Museum is located in a farm building of Hadamar Castle that was built around 1625. Before the redesign work, the museum presented exhibits by artists from Hadamar and the surrounding area, including a frieze by Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach, the silhouettes of Ernst Moritz Engert and works by Alois Koch. The museum will probably reopen in 2026 with a new exhibition on the city's history; the frieze by Karl Wilhelm Diefenbach will still be on display.
