Entrance fees
We charge an annual fee of €25 for adults to borrow media. Pupils and students living in Gelnhausen can use the library free of charge. Pupils and students from neighboring communities pay an annual fee of €15. A current school or student ID card is required for this. Minors up to the age of 14 require the written consent of a legal guardian. Volunteers pay a reduced fee of €10.

Information
The public library sees itself as a family library and offers its readers a large selection of novels ranging from current bestsellers to classics. There are also magazines and numerous non-fiction books for all areas on loan. Free WLAN access is available to members on the library premises. The range is extended by digital media in the form of DVDs, audio books, console games, TipToi pens and the Tonie figures for the popular Tonieboxes.
