Stadtbücherei Bad Soden
Modern offer in a historic building
The Bad Soden public library in the Badehaus cultural centre in the old spa gardens has an extensive range of media on offer for readers of all ages. In addition to the wide range of books in various categories, library customers have access to a total of 300,000 electronic media from the online library, which is linked to the library's homepage.
In addition, the library team regularly organises reading sessions for the youngest book users - adults also meet regularly for literature circles, games afternoons, readings and workshops.
The programming robots, which are designed for children aged three to eight, are a brand new addition to the range. These are available for loan to daycare centres and primary schools as well as for loan from the library. The focus here is on digital education, as the children learn to programme the small robots through play. Programmable cutting plotters are also brand new. Library customers can use these to scan in patterns and then cut them out of various materials.
