According to the motto "Out of the classroom - onto the stage", the Schultheatertage have been held in Wiesbaden since 2002. In cooperation with the theatre education department, the cultural office organises the theatre festival lasting several days, during which schools present not only theatre classics but also their own productions on the stages of the Hessisches Staatstheater. The Schultheatertage enjoy great popularity and unbroken popularity even beyond the city limits.
