The Schlosstheater Fulda is a first class cultural venue. Not only in the middle of Germany, but also in the middle of Fulda, it is easily accessible by all means of transport. The noble appearance of the foyer, which was redesigned in 2022, already makes you want to attend the diverse events in all categories, which convince both artistically and with the most modern stage technology and excellent air conditioning. The ground-level access to the wheelchair spaces and the disabled toilet, a stair lift, the guidance system for the visually impaired, the mobile induction loops for the hearing-impaired and the generally very low admission prices all contribute to an experience without barriers. The architectural highlight of the house remains the golden sky in the auditorium with its 75,000 slats made of Venetian Murano glass.
The top-class chamber concerts take place in the neighboring Fürstensaal of the Stadtschloss, a high-baroque state hall with excellent acoustics. International level and close proximity to the musicians make every concert an exciting experience.
