For decades, the tithe yard of the Teutonic Order lay in a state of sleeping beauty, until 1991, when Lucie and Heinrich Waschkewitz acquired the property and turned it into a jewel. In years of meticulous restoration work, they restored the yard and converted the chapel into a knight's hall. Lucie Waschkewitz finally found the space to present her passion for collecting to a larger audience: hundreds of dolls from times long past can be admired here.
