The paper theater player and collector, researcher and author Walter Röhler left Darmstadt, his hometown, one of Europe's most extensive paper theater collections. The Nachbarschaftsheim Darmstadt manages this collection on behalf of the city and presents over 100 built-up model stages in a museum and archive, giving an insight into the treasure of several thousand paper theater sheets.
