Why do we play paper theatre ? Out of enthusiasm to make our audience's eyes light up and to entertain them well. Because we ourselves have experienced the magic of paper theatre performances and want to make this experience possible for as many people as possible. To preserve old customs. To keep fairy tales and legends, and their message, from being forgotten and to present them in an unusual way. For the joy of building, designing and painting scenery and figures, planning lighting effects and producing the accompanying radio plays, creating our own little multimedia work of art. We are Susanne and Stefan Schweig and offer theatre performances with the paper theatre, which will be included in the immaterial Unesco cultural heritage in Germany in 2021.
Note: we are not specifically designed for children. Our paper theater is suitable for all ages. We even have over 80% adult viewers.
