A total of four permanent exhibitions:
"The Zuckmayers - a family from Rheinhessen" stages multimedia and interactive topics such as "home", "life paths" or "heritage".
In the "Village Treasury - Nackenheim's History in Objects" historical objects represent the epochs of village history - from prehistoric times to the present.
Gravestones are made to speak in the "Lapidary of the Nackenheim Sepulchral Culture". The oldest bear names and dates from the 17th century.
The boatmen's association's exhibition "Nackenheim – the lower village shaped by the Rhine" documents and explains very specific and Nackenheim-typical jobs on the river.
In addition, local and regional artists present their works in changing exhibitions, and there are lectures, readings and film evenings.
Note: As a historical monument, the muxum is not barrier-free and the historical staircase is not easy to climb. Please consider this before visiting
