The museum of local history is housed in a building steeped in history: the Egelsbach guard house, or detention house in Kirchstraße 1 in Egelsbach. Since the fifth of April, 2020, the museum's interesting exhibitions take place on the first Sunday of the month from 3 to 5 pm in the museum. Here, visitors can also purchase the museum's various literature.
