Museum im Vorwerk Ulrichstein
35327 Ulrichstein
Ulrichstein's museum for rural cultural assets, agriculture, forestry and hunting provides broad insights into the life and work of the people in the High Vogelsberg. Continual temporary exhibitions, especially on the topics of hunting, art, customs, preservation of local history and life in the rural area, complement the themes of the permanent exhibitions on an area of 1,200 square meters. There, visitors will find a collection of works by the artist Ernst Eimer, the former agricultural school of Marburg for lessons or seminars accompanying the museum, the Vogelsberg library, representations of the thematic complexes of hunting and forestry in individual dioramas and a prepared drill core of the HLUG of the research drilling of 1996 with explanations of the geology of the Vogelsberg
