Information

The first museum in Heusenstamm was housed in Kirchstraße 43, then moved to the Kaisertor and later had to be closed because of structural damage. Only in 2010 could it be reopened at the site of the former "Zehnthaus", a medieval building in which the tax collector stored "den Zehnten", the tithe. It is a small but wonderful museum that tells the story of Heusenstamm in only 120 square meters: the Knights of Heusenstamm, the Schönborns, the Jewish community and the modern age. In pictures and facts – with few objects – history is presented.
