Information
Since 1990, the Museum Modern Art has existed in the former gas works of the city of Hünfeld and has gained national recognition as a meeting place for concrete art. The landmarked Art Nouveau building with a gasometer dating back to 1908 in combination with modern exhibition pavilions forms a walking tour of more than 1,000 square meters. Visitor can experience a unique ambience with a combination of industrial and functional architecture and an extensive sculpture exhibition in the outdoor area.
