Information
The two-storey residential and public house ‘Zum Goldenen Apfel’ was built in half-timbered construction in 1751. The museum is now housed in the outbuildings of what was once the most important inn in Mörfelden. The museum focuses on the beginnings of the Roman settlement with the villa rustica, the pronounced labour movement in Mörfelden with the first KPD mayor in Hesse and village life in the 20th century. There is also a report on the period of National Socialism in the village.
