The Gruberhof is an old riding stable in the immediate vicinity of the “Bleiche” amusement park in the Raibach valley. The property has been used as a museum since 1987. The sights include: The farm itself with a bourgeois residential building, cottage garden, smithy, bakehouse and servants' quarters, the nationally unique collection of agriculture, Groß-Umstadt crafts and industrial history, but also the comprehensive exhibition on the city and cultural history. In addition, traditional events, traditional festivals, guest performances and lectures take place regularly, numerous groups of guests and children marvel at "how it used to be", mediated by qualified museum guides. At events and in the museum café, traditional "bio-regional-fair" dishes are served.
