With the help of many exhibits, the Gonsenheim Museum gives an insight into the successful development from the small Linear Pottery village from 7,000 years ago to today's largest suburb of Mainz with 240,000 inhabitants. Jewelry and ceramics from all times, a 100-year-old horse-drawn-carriage, a music box and other objects are on display.
