Since 2009, MADE. has been bringing particularly worthwhile productions from the independent performing arts in Hesse to the stage in 3 to 4 cities across the country as a festival series, unique in the country and always on par with the times. Audio walks, discussions, performances, drama, musical theater, urban space interventions, lectures, workshops - in "learned" as well as in surprising places, in closed and public spaces - form a diverse and interactive multi-day program for everyone who is curious and interested. In addition to the scene prize, the artists in each city also receive an audience prize. The content is always anchored by a festival motto such as “Exceptionally”, “Grab”, “Equalization of Pressure”, “Open Space(s)”. MADE.DATE, which alternates annually with the festival, brings the Hessian independent scene together in one place for networking and exchange.
