As Frankfurt's highest park, Lohrpark offers an unparalleled panorama. At 180 meters above sea level, a charming chestnut grove provides a view across the entire Main plain to the city skyline. Magnificent old trees and expansive meadows characterize this 18-hectare oasis.

Nature, enjoyment, and tradition

A stroll along the cherry tree avenue leads past Frankfurt's only municipal vineyard. The grapes harvested here officially belong to the Rheingau wine region. Those interested in learning more about regional fruit will find an interactive garden and expert advice at the “MainÄppelHaus Lohrberg.”

Time out for the whole family

While adults relax with Frankfurt specialties at the popular "Lohrberg-Schänke," the spacious playground with its own water play area offers plenty of room to run around and play.
