Information

The Bad Orb spa gardens are the green heart of the spa resort: colourful flower beds, mature trees and the gentle splashing of the Orbbach stream create an idyllic oasis of calm. Whether you are looking for relaxation or activity, the grounds, laid out around 1900 in the style of an English landscape garden, offer something for everyone. At the centre stands the imposing graduation tower from 1806. As the oldest technical monument of its kind in Hesse, it now serves as a natural open-air inhalatorium. Enjoy the salty breeze as if you were at the seaside and take a deep breath. For active visitors, the park offers a fitness trail, a Kneipp facility and Germany's longest barefoot path, which awakens the senses over a distance of 4.5 kilometres. Those interested in botany can also discover the healing powers of over 200 plants in the educational herb garden.
