Go to the Kellertheater for a laugh! And not only for that: We also recommend a visit to our cellar theater to reflect, to be touched, to be stimulated and to be entertained in the best sense of the word. Every Friday and Saturday evening you can experience something with us. This is theater in all its forms, from the classic to the contemporary, post-dramatic play. Sometimes profound, sometimes grueling, sometimes entertaining. Or all of them together. But always with the claim of an ambitious "off-stage" of free theater, always with an irrepressible desire for (show) play. As a member of the Frankfurt Theater Alliance, we stage three to four productions a year with a constantly changing cast. In addition, we put on a large number of guest performances - and have been doing so for over 30 years. The foundation of the Junge Bühne Frankfurt e.V. association dates back to 1957! And once a month we offer something very special: Our studio stage "Maleen" with new scenically presented texts and theme evenings with drama, music, multimedia and literature, which is out of the ordinary and surprises with experiments.
