The Kammerspiele Wiesbaden was founded by theatre professionals who, after many years of professional practice, left the state and municipal theatres to create their own production conditions that allow for a very personal lively and artistic development. The concept is to reinterpret contemporary and socially critical plays and to realise them with their own ideas. The Kammerspiele Wiesbaden has already established itself as a free, professional theatre with its own permanent venue in the neo-Gothic annexe of the Bergkirche Wiesbaden with numerous productions of its own.
