The collection of the Municipal Historical Museum is currently leaving the previous ‘Schaudepot im Horex Museum’ (2020-2025) and moving back to the renovated Gothic House.

The industrial history of Bad Homburg is presented in the Horex Museum, which opened in the autumn of 2012. It is part of the Municipal Historical Museum. It changes its exhibition every year on its 380 square meters, with museum-owned exhibits supplemented by substantial privately owned loans. The focus of the exhibition is on the legendary Bad Homburger motorcycle manufacturer Horex.
