After the HfG Offenbach was founded in 1970, the systematic development of the library began in 1971. It currently has a differentiated artistic and scientific collection of more than 55,000 media units. The collection is orientated towards the university's courses, research areas and artistic themes. The collection focuses on art/art history, architecture, visual communication, product design and theatre studies and is supplemented by basic literature from the fields of philosophy, sociology, media theory and cultural history.
We offer a service that includes information about our own holdings as well as assistance with research and the procurement of literature not available at the HfG and basic support for academic work.
