The local heritage museum in Gundheim is located in the former palatine building of the former village owners, the Lords of Greiffenclau zu Vollraths from the Rheingau. Today, in addition to the town hall and the fire brigade, the building houses the museum's four rooms, which, apart from special exhibitions, mainly revolve around representations from the previous century. In the course of time, the Century Room was created in 1984, the Craft Room in 1992, the School Room in 1999 and the Bible Room in 2014. The main focus is on cultural achievements from the direct surroundings of the village in order to make them tangible for today's generations. In this way, the museum contributes to the understanding of our origins and offers visitors an orientation in today's Europe.
