Heimatmuseum Undenheim
55278 Undenheim
By appointment and announced exhibitions
The Museum of Local History has already documented numerous exhibitions representing different epochs of the local history. In the museum’s collection are also numerous finds of buildings and landmarks that document the historical origins of Undenheim. The so-called “Fratzensteine”, three rectangular stone blocks that were found some time ago in the gable of a farmstead from the late 18th century, pose riddles to the public. Other activities include art exhibitions and joint works with neighboring cultural associations.
In addition to art exhibitions, we also offer special exhibitions with (local) historical references. On the upper floor there is a permanent exhibition with artifacts and objects from everyday life in Undenheim from the Stone Age through the Roman period to the present.
