Information
The Nordenstadt Local History Museum is located in the premises of a former Franconian farmstead and was extended in 2000 to include the old fire station. The exhibition is dedicated to the history, culture and everyday life of Nordenstadt.
You can marvel at a corner shop from 1910, a hairdressing salon from the 1930s, a cobbler's workshop and a ‘Gud Stubb’’, which, like the museum tavern, is used as a wedding room. In the neighbouring old fire engine house, small agricultural equipment, fire brigade utensils and much more are exhibited. Events organised by the local historical society and other associations are regularly held in the museum courtyard.
