1,800 exhibits on around 100 square metres of exhibition space introduce visitors to the way people used to live in Lützellinden. The kitchen, living room and bedroom are presented with historical furnishings. The exhibition is supplemented by numerous exhibits such as toys, school desks and objects related to flax and milk production. A specific focus, however, lies on the meticulously embroidered Hüttenberger costumes and shawls. Pictures and costumes from Sudetenland, Bohemia and Moravia remind visitors of fellow citizens that were displaced and murdered by the Nazis in 1946. Alongside photographies of families from Lützellinden, the walls are decorated with paintings and watercolours by the local artist W. Großhaus (1900-1969). On special opening days, the pemanent exhibition is enriched by changing thematic exhibitions.
