"Frankfurt's place to be" – that's how a daily newspaper aptly described Hafenpark. Located directly on the banks of the Main River, in the shadow of the ECB, this oasis opened in 2015 on a former industrial site. Here, raw industrial charm meets modern leisure culture.
What the park offers:
• Action in the sports area: Free courts for soccer, basketball, volleyball, and badminton, as well as two fitness trails.
• Concrete Jungle: The professional skate and BMX facility was developed in collaboration with the local scene and is the heart of the park (admission from age 8).
• Highlights for everyone: Giant sky swings, climbing spheres, in-ground trampolines, and an imaginative water playground for the little ones.
Whether for burning off energy or for a picnic on the grass – Hafenpark is the vibrant meeting place in Frankfurt's Ostend district.
