The generously designed parkland of the "Grünen Achse Westerbach (Westerbach Green Axis)" forms a vibrant link between the Eschborn districts of Niederhöchstadt and Eschborn. The impressive sculpture park in Niederhöchstadt marks the beginning of the journey. Here, permanently installed works by international artists engage in a stylish dialogue with expansive lawns and magnificent perennial beds, which are particularly vibrant in spring.

The path leads along the naturally landscaped Westerbach brook, whose banks are lined with a variety of tree species, providing a valuable habitat for native vegetation. Heading south, fascinating contrasts unfold: the sweeping view across the idyllic Westerbach floodplain meets the striking Frankfurt skyline on the horizon.

Old fruit trees, small woodlands, and secluded resting places invite relaxation, while captivating vistas maintain a connection to the sculpture park. Passing an adventure playground, the axis finally leads to the idyllic pond and the historic Old Mill. The mill, first documented in 1405, forms an atmospheric conclusion to the complex. Surrounded by trees, some of which are listed as historical monuments, the mill garden, especially with its old fruit trees, is a particularly inviting place to linger.
