Due to the 'new conception' the 'teatro siciliano di Gallus' finally opened on the first of April 1983 under the name »Gallus Theater« to other free theater groups. Since then, the theater sees itself as a production and entertainment venue for independent groups from Frankfurt and the surrounding area and is open to guest performances from all over the world. In the continuing socio-cultural work, the cultural center refers to the district as a place of experience and living.
