The exhibitions in the gallery in Burggrafiat take place since June 4, 1983. To the present day, the city has presented more than 200 exhibitions by artists such as Steffen Lipp, Arie Ogen, David Tzur, Oskar Kokoschka, Franz Ruzicka, Tristan, Charles White, Carl-Ludwig Seeger, Franz Knapp, Georg Baselitz, Hap Grieshaber, Max Slevoght, the loans from the Deutsche Bank collection and many more. Not to forget the numerous exhibitions of the artists from Alzey and the surrounding area, such as Jo van Alsen, Fitz Hess, Günter Behringer, Karl-Theo Göhring, Albert Cattarius, Ehrhard Hütz, Gerhard Lier, Ruth Hoffmann, the group Impuls(e), the Alzeyer hobby artists, etc.
