The Alt-Wormser-Fischerzunft, founded in 1106, is not only one of the oldest guilds in Germany, but also an important part of the Worms Backfischfest. This tradition can be admired in the Fischerwääder Museum. A wealth of information awaits the visitor: portraits of the Bojemääschter (Fischerwääder mayor) and former Backfisch-brides, tools of the Worms fishermen and their guild as well as a recreation room.
