This museum is the only one of its kind in the Wetterau district. It presents fire fighting in the historical development from 1850 to 1950. The treasures collected by the fire departments of the community in the last few years have been transferred into a coherent exhibition. In the fire department museum, a hand-operated fire engine from 1877 (FF Nidda), a hand-operated fire engine from FF Stornfels, a suction and pressure fire engine from FF Geiß-Nidda, a wooden tipping ladder with a climbing height of 12 m from FF Nidda, historical uniforms and tools from 1877 as well as portable fire engines, the oldest built in 1938, can be seen on 100 square meters. The highlight is the light fire-fighting group vehicle from 1941 with the corresponding portable pump trailer.
