Since 2005, the Fantasy Filmfest has been complemented by the Fantasy Filmfest Nights side series, which takes place every spring. Approximately 17 films, including an opening film, are shown over four days at Fantasy Filmfest venues throughout Germany. Over the years, mainstream hits such as EVIL DEAD RISE, THE CONJURING: THE DEVIL MADE ME DO IT and A QUIET PLACE 2, cult films such as LOVE LIES BLEEDING, PEARL and TALK TO ME, as well as renowned genre filmmakers such as John Landis, John Krasinski, Ben Wheatley, Neil Marshall, Adam Wingard and Alex de la Iglesia have given the event its profile.
