The mobile library has been providing the outskirts of Wiesbaden with literature, music and film as a mobile public library since the 1970s. The fleet includes two book buses. The intercity bus travels to fixed stops according to a timetable so that customers can borrow and return media there. In addition, titles from the holdings of the Biebrich district library can be ordered and reserved. The mobile library doesn't just offer books, it also offers CDs, DVDs, Tonies, Tiptoi and current magazines. The intercity bus also provides free WiFi for using the online offerings.
