Information
Essenheimer Kunstverein has been showing and teaching contemporary art and documentary films since 1988.
Established artists from Germany and abroad as well as young artists present their work in six to seven exhibitions per year.
The documentary-film-art series shows outstanding artistic films that rarely find their way to an audience. The direct conversation with artists and filmmakers is important. Studio and exhibition visits as well as lecture series on the subject of contemporary art and documentary are part of the program. Joint works with other art associations, art colleges and galleries create and stimulate new changes of perspective.
