Information

The village museum "Buisch ahl Huss" is a private museum in Schlitz-Fraurombach in Eastern Hesse. It invites its visitors to take a look at rural life in the region about a hundred years ago. Speaking of the surroundings: "Buisch ahl Huss" and the witnesses of rural life are firmly rooted in their Schlitzerland homeland. We would like to make this connection tangible. Therefore, visitors will also discover a number of exhibits about cultural and historical features from Romich and the Schlitzerland. Romich? This is the name of Fraurombach in the local dialect, which is presented on the museum's website alongside typical cooking recipes or some sights visitors can see during a visit to Fraurombach.
